Common questions about Tracker Pack and how it works for contractors.

Does it work without internet?

Yes! Tracker Pack is built offline-first. Your crew can clock in/out even with no cell signal. Data saves to their phone and syncs automatically when they're back online. We keep 2 weeks of data cached locally.

What if two people edit the same entry?

Our sync system detects conflicts and lets you choose which version to keep. You'll see both versions side-by-side and can pick the correct one. No data is lost.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your company's data is completely isolated from other companies (multi-tenant architecture). All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored encrypted at rest by our database provider. We use rate limiting to prevent abuse and audit logging to track changes. Your crew can only see their own entries.

What about payroll and invoicing?

Payroll Hub (paycheck calculations) and Invoice Tracker (customer billing) are planned for 2026. For now, you can export approved time entries to CSV for your existing payroll system.

Do you file taxes for me?

No. When Payroll Hub launches, it will calculate federal, state, and local tax withholdings, but you or your accountant will file taxes yourself. We're a calculation tool, not a payroll service like Gusto or ADP.

What's included in the free tier?

The free tier includes 1 Time Tracker user, 1 Day Tracker user, up to 3 projects, and 3 months of data history. It's a great way to try the platform before upgrading. Paid plans unlock more users, projects, storage, and longer data retention.
